|Game 3||Game 3 Outline|
You awaken (again...how many times can one person lose consciousness in one day?!?) in a much different place from before. It is immediately apparent that you are in some kind of cell, although the walls are transparent and are infused with a mysterious yet soothing soft white light. As your eyes adjust to the light, you see that your cell is set in a circle of five adjacent cells similar to yours. There is an empty space in the middle of the cells, also white with a slightly raised surface.
There are five other people imprisoned in the cells, and you are overjoyed when you find you are able to talk to all of them through the glass. You ask the woman in the cell to your left what is going on.
"I answered the riddle correctly," you state. "And yet, I'm still here! What gives?"
The woman, whose name is Celia, shakes her head despairingly. "We all answered the riddle correctly - Man - but the Countess doesn't care," she explains. "We're just a few of her experiments, and all she cares about is performing her horrific transformations on us. We haven't been transformed yet, but in other 5-clusters, there've been grosteque transformations." She shudders. "Now that you're here, I'm sure we're all next."
"But, rumor has it that the Countess is a beneficient sorceress," you argue. Celia shakes her head. "Not at all. We have no idea where her powers came from, but all she uses them for are her own twisted, personal desires."
Celia just finished her sentence in time for the Countess to appear in the middle of the platform. All five captives train their petrified faces on her. She laughs with pleasure at the rituals she is about to perform. Apparently the cells are set up that each prisoner can witness the others' transformations.
She raises her omnious snake scepter and the transformations begin...
