Wanna play repeat? Wanna play repeat?

As you roll your window down, the patrolman steps into view. "Good morning. Would you mind stepping down from there with your license and registration?" "Sure, I was just gonna..." You are interrupted by another patrolman who steps into view beside the first one. "Good morning. Would you mind stepping down from there with your license and registration?" "Yeah, no problem," you say, as you try to figure out why this all seems so familiar. The first patrolman says with a chuckle, "Excuse me," then says to the second patrolman, "no." The second patrolman replies by saying the same thing. Now you realize why this seems so familiar. The patrolmen are Foster and Mac from Super Troopers! As you step out of the truck, you realize that this is a slightly different situation. You know better than to try the "What did I do wrong, officer? 'Cuz I know I wasn't speeding," line. You're much younger and smaller than Galikanukus was, and you have a passenger in the form of a kangaroo. Lastly, you're nowhere even close to Spurbury, Vermont. "Was I speeding?" you say, trying to feign incredulity as you hand Foster your license and registration. Foster looks up from your license. "Do you know how fast you were going?" You think for a moment... "Uhhh, sixty-..." You're interrupted again by Mac. "Do you know how fast you were going?" "Sixty-five?" "Three miles per hour," say Foster and Mac simulatenously. You take a moment to figure out what they're talking about, then it hits you: You weren't going 150 miles per hour. Obviously you were looking at the tachometer, noticed the 150, and assumed that meant 150 MPH. Now that you think about it, that would've been your RPM x 10, not your speed. No wonder you didn't think you were moving much! You realize that just before you and the 'roo made the switch, the truck was parked on a gentle incline with the air brakes on and the transmission in neutral, and as soon as you took the air brakes off you started moving. Unfortunately, you weren't as good at driving a semi as you thought...
