Yoshi's judgement

"Hm... We are left princeless." Yoshi is truly an odd character. He is, not to put too fine a point on it, old - you've never seen anything that looked older, in fact. His hair is white and incredibly long - it spills down his back and is tied round his waist. His robes are red and embossed with odd, gleaming runes, and his eyes are the oddest thing of all; almond-shaped and glowing silver, they radiate both magical and physical power.

"What will you do now, 'Maiden'?" asks Yoshi, a faint smile playing over his withered face. You begin to reply, but then notice the way he said 'Maiden'.

"You know who I am, don't you?" you ask, trying to sound suspicious, but, in your new lilting, beautiful voice, failing and sounding sweet.

"Who? No. But WHAT? Yes. I know you are a man. I know some powerful mage made you beautiful and transported you here. I also know that it is foretold a woman of great power and intelligence would destroy the two false heirs to the throne - both placed here long ago, when the young princes were assasinated - and rule in a golden kingdom of greatness."

" If.. If you knew the Princes were really false, why didn't you kill them? I mean, according to you, earlier, they were placed here at a very young age, and you obviously knew all along. Why transport me here?"

"Me? I didn't transport you here, 'm'lady'. And I wouldn't harm either of the 'princes' because of the prophecy. Who am I, to meddle with destiny? No, no, I left it until the maiden foretold would come, and rule our kingdom. And thus, here you are - our new queen."

DEEP. But... What now?
