Don't Press Your Luck

Satisfied, the patrolman is about to wave you through the check-point when you press your luck with a final question.

"Um, officer? These animals you're looking for? Are they, like, dangerous?"

"Very dangerous," the patrolman replies. Then he gives you a hard stare and asks, "Are you SURE you haven't seen anything unusual?"

Ever so slightly, you feel the back of your car seat pushing you forward, as though the roo were pressing against it with its powerful hind legs.
