darkness and GYiGAs...

All you see is darkness, but... there was a sound, it sounded like breathing of some kind. Suddenly an exposion happened in the darkness spreading some red gas or liquid all, it seemed to form a swirl, with something that looked like a skull in the middle. out of nowhere your name was suddenly repeated over and over. "Who are you," you shout to the skull! "I.. FEeL... gOOD..." comes from the "thing" as a giant beam hits you, making you black out.
