Up: Game 3  Up: Game 3 Outline

A change of plan?

Your surroundings change yet again, and you find yourself on a dirty, brown couch. Pizza boxes and beer cans are littered everywhere, and the TV blares out the sounds of a cricket game. You scratch your chin and discover you have a beard. You hear the doorbell ring, and heave yourself off the couch, feeling your feet take the strain of your large body. You pat your gut happily, then walk to the door, takin your time. You open it and nobody's there - there's a box addressed to you, though. You take it back inside and open it, finding a letter and some sort of stopwatch. You pick up the letter and read it.

'Dear laddie,

I hope you're enjoying your existance at my hands. I bet you never knew being fat could be fun, eh? Maybe it'll teach you to stop abusing things when they are given to you. Like wishes. Just to spite you, I'm goin to make you thin again.'

You look down in horror, and see your beautiful gut slowly shrink into your torso, along with your breasts. Your arms and legs thin, and your chin begins to shrink. You're soon back to being thin, and suddenly your mind is released from the stupor it's been in for the last few hours. You sigh with relief, then continue reading the letter.

'The artefact enclosed with this box is my last gift to you. Use it as you will, but be careful what you wish for.

Sincerely, the leprechaun.'

You stare at the letter for a few seconds. You have absolutely no idea what he meant. You shrug, then pull out the item that came with the letter. It's a watch, one of the old ones with hands. But it's not normal, you can tell. It's covered in far more buttons than it needs, and the hands don't move. You find another note taped to the back.

'Reality-jumping device.

The user of this seemingly normal device can jump to an alternate reality or timeline of their choosing. During he jump, they will take the place of their alternate self, gaining their body and skills, but retaining their current state of mind.

CAUTION: You are given a one-day window to explore and experience an alternate life, before you are trapped there forever. Keep the watch on you at all times to prevent this.

Specify what you desire. Just giving the device a vague command will cause it do fill in the details, and you may not get what you expected.

HOW TO USE:...'
