Flipping through the spell book, you spot a drawing of a dark cloud with multiple lighting bolts emerging. "That looks suitably nasty," you think, and you begin to chant the archane words written below the drawing: "Oh, wah tahgoo Siam. Oh, wah tahgoo Siam."
Almost immediately, a coal-black cloud forms near the ceiling. With much rumbling and roiling, the cloud lets loose a torrential downpour which quickly drenches everything in the room.
The deluge has two primary results, neither of which is beneficial to you. First, the rain extinguishes the fire, allowing the wolf to approach you unimpeded. Second, the book of magic is ruined, making it virtually impossible for you to cast any more spells.
Bummer.
