Wedding Day

You take off your ruined clothes and go to your closet, pulling the larger sizes out from the back, sighing as you do. You had hoped you could get rid of these, but after 2 cases like this, you figured you may need them. Your caution has proved warranted, and you slip on the smallest of the x series shirt and pants before heading downstairs.

Fred and Albert hear you before they see you. "Oh, great your up, we were worried you were going to miss..." they start, before walking out from the kitchen and seeing you. Both are wearing formal dress, black with white shirts and ties. But the subject on their mind falls away as they see you. "Seriously!?" says Albert, "Seriously? This again!? Ok, what is it this time? Aliens? Ghosts? What the heck has gotten you fat this time!?" Clearly Albert has had his fill of this.

"Um... cursed camera...?" you say meekly. Albert brings his hand to his face, frustrated and mortified. "You know what... fine... we will deal with this later." he says, "Right now, we have a wedding to attend. Remember? Rick's sister?" You recall it was supposed to be today, you lost track with your sudden series of food comas making you lose days. "Yeah, but..." you say, thinking of your own suit, "I'm not really going to fit into my suit anymore." you say, looking at your large stomach. You doubt you could button up your shirt, let alone fit into the tailored pants you had prepared. Albert groans, "Well... geez... You can try on some of mine, or you can stay here." he says, torn between his frustration and trying to be somewhat sympathetic.

You think about it, you may be able to fit into Albert's clothes, he is broad enough, though you are not sure how well his pants will fit. Even then you don't know if they will keep fitting. You could end up bursting the buttons mid-ceremony. You may be better off staying home. But Rick is a friend, and he did invite you. You can't help but feel guilty if you stand him up.
