Undeveloped Garden

Well, you do have a camera that make people look fat... well, your not so stupid to go taking pictures of people, but... you can probably see what it does when you take pictures of other things. You get the camera off the shelf, brushing the dust off before taking it outside. The garden looks bad as ever, there are a few small... you can't tell if they are cherry tomatoes, or just regular ones. A zucchini plants sits beside it, along with what looks like a pumpkin, if pumpkins were supposed to be the size of a grapefruit. You aim the camera, wondering if this would give you some insight to what the garden 'could' look like. You snap the picture, and the camera flashes. A new photo slides out the front, which you take and shake a little to speed up the development.

After a time, the picture comes into view, and you laugh a little. The garden in the picture looks a lot better then the one before you. The tomatoes are cherry tomatoes, from the shape, but are the size of baseballs, the zucchini looks like watermelons, and the pumpkin doesn't even fit in the frame. You know this is just an image, if you entered even one of these into one of the harvest festival competitions, you're pretty sure you'd win first place.

You are about to put the photo away, when you notice something in the corner of the picture. It's easy to see as it is against they pumpkin's orange. At first you think its just a coloration error, but then you notice the shape looks like a purplish butterfly. You wander. You go inside and find the photo of you and Rick, then search the frame. Eventually you spot the butterfly in each one, through these ones are blue. You put all three photos on the table to compare, wondering their significance. Maybe it is a picture of the actual curse.

Then you put the camera down, and receive a surprise as the butterflies all suddenly move, fluttering about as if flying repositioning themselves in the photo before settling down in a different location. The blue butterflies have turned purplish as well, not matching the one from your most recent photo. You watch for any more movement, but for now they seem to be content. Strange. Well, it is a cursed camera, and you managed to entertain yourself for half an hour. You wonder if Fred is up for a game or two.
