Stepping out

"Uhrg..." Albert says, messaging his stomach. "I really overdid it yesterday. You got any antacids?" he asks.

Fred looks up from his food, "Um... I don't think so?" he says, "We haven't really had any stomach problems. Well, aside from, you know..." he says. All of you know at this point what he is referring too.

"Great," says Albert, disheartened. "I'm going to go out then," he says, heading for the door. "Wait," you say, I'll come with you," You haven't had a chance to tell Albert about the Demon, "I need to talk to you about some things."

"So he wanted you to join him." says Albert, "Figures, two demons would be twice as hard to get rid of... no offense."

"None taken, I turned him down. Hard. I don't want to be a demon, and I sure as hell don't want to be evil." You say.

You are standing in line with some alka-seltzer tablets and a bottle of water. Albert is still rubbing his stomach in discomfort. "I'm more worried about the... implications he made about me."

"Probably trying to get in your head," says Albert, paying for the water and Tablets. You open the bottle and drink some so you can pop the tablets in for Albert, instantly regretting it. The water is like aside, and you find yourself choking on it, but manage to put the tablets in and hand off the bottle while you run outside and cough up everything you swallowed.

"I am never going to get use to this." you say as you splutter up the last of it. Albert is drinking the alka-seltzer mixture as he walks up to you. "Ahhh, much better," he says. looking much more relieved. "Don't worry about what he said, your a good guy and trying. Even if we don't find a way to change you back, me and Fred got your back."

"Thanks," you say, feeling a bit better, "So, off to the gym today?" you ask, still noting the pie belly he has. "Nah, I'd probably blow chunks if I try a hard session. Looks like you two have me for another day." he says, "I hear you and Fred have some high score thing going. Want to see if I can beat that?"

You grin, happy at the challenge, and for the bonding time you three have had.
