Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

Fred's fat... again.

You decide to head back to Fred's appartment and tell him what's happened, deciding that it be best to have tow people looking into this then just you. Hopefully you'll be able to get a better perspective of what's going on. You drive back up and knock on Fred's door. "Coming," you here, as Fred hears you. "Fred, it's me, you'll never believe what's happened, I saw Albert and he's huge, and the Jungle Gym looks like a heard of rhinos stampeded through it, and..." The door opens, and Fred stands there, filling the door frame, "...and... you too?" you say, flabbergasted. Fred looks like he's swallowed a basketball, his normally trim and skinny form has ballooned. While nowhere near the mountain Albert has become, it looks as if his weight has doubled since last you saw him. His stomach budges out over his pants, and he pulls down on his shirt, trying to get it to cover what is clearly too large for it's size. "Don't laugh," he says, blushing a bit.

"What happened?" you say, more worried then amused. Fred invites you in and you see his apartment, which was pretty much spick and span now decorated in a number of empty pizza boxes. "I just can't help it, their soooo good." he says, "I ordered one, then I just had to have another, and it just kept on from there!" he says, parking himself in the chair by his computer, his enlarged rear filling the seat. A bit larger and he would probably be wedged into it.

"It looks like something similar may have happened with Albert, his house was full of pizza boxes." you say, recalling the state it had been in. "Do you think this is another curse?" asked Fred, "I just got skinny, I don't want to turn into a ball again!" You think about it, "I don't think so, the gym was totaled, I think whatever is going on has something to do with the pizza, or else it would just be us, right? And I haven't gained as much, maybe because I haven't pigged out as much." you say trying to put together what clues you have.

"Maybe there's something in the Pizza?" suggests Fred, and you wonder if he's right. But Greg always seemed like a nice guy, you don't think he would be up to anything, could it be that his pizza is just too good? "Maybe we should talk to Greg," you say, thinking he may have some answers, if only to find out what is in the Pizza. "Well, I have a friend in a science lab who could analyze the pizza, just in case it's something else." he says, thinking on it, "If you go question Greg, I can get a sample to him and maybe there's something we can do to reverse the effect." You think on it, you could probably talk to Greg yourself, it would help cover all your bases, but then again, if Greg is up to something, would it be a good idea to go see him alone?
