Your entire face turns to putty. As additional whiskers poke through it here and there, your ears reposition themselves, and your mouth extends into a wide muzzle. You grimace as your jaw doubles in length to accommodate new teeth, large and deadly. Your nose goes numb, and your eyes seem to change, although you are unsure how. While all these changes take place, however, a thought befuddles you: why would Fred the human being want you to be this way? Would it not give you an advantage over him? Obviously, something very strange is going on, aside from your transformation. You resolve to be more careful than ever, and you lock your gaze on Fred the human being, determined to find out what it is.
