Try to Accept These Changes

You try to look on the bright side. You won't get cold as easily. You can find work as a stunt double for Robin Williams. Oh, forget it.

The hair extends even down your fingers, now, but it is very fine past your knuckles and concerns you far less than your face, which you feel doing something unnatural. You run into the kitchen and immediately see your reflection in the shiny chrome countertop. You have moderate beard growth, but your eyes and nose appear unchanged. Your ears aren't exactly hairy, but they taper off somewhat and seem to be attached further up your head than you remember. And you have quite a good memory about these things.

All of a sudden, your belt tightens. It hurts against your waist, but you can't loosen it! Like a wishbone, it breaks with a funny pop, and you exhale with relief as your pants loosen again. You reach inside the back of them and realize that your tail was cramped. Off to the bathroom you go to brush it and smooth out the hair. Fur. Whatever.
