You notice your make-up needs attention

You take a glance in the mirror and are mortified to see that your makeup is a mess.

Taking out some cotton wool, you wipe away all of your makeup and reapply it. A nice foundation to remove any blemishes on the skin, a touch of blusher just to highlight your fine cheekbones, light golden brown eye make up, and fine cherry-red lipstick. Just a touch of mascara on your eyelashes, and you're ready for battle.

Just then, a little girl comes running up to you and says "Mummy, mummy, Tommy's had an accident and wet his panties!"

You say "Alright, Jenny, I'm coming, dear."

Looking through into the next room, you see a boy of about three years old sitting on the floor and crying. You rush up to clear up your toddler son's soggy clothes.

You take Tommy to the bathroom and strip off all his clothes and, after giving him a good wash, you dress him in clean clothes.

Taking the sodden pants, trousers, tee shirt an socks, you toss them into the washing machine to stop them staining.

A woman's work is never done, and you still need something for your husband's supper and he'll be in in an hour...
