Suddenly feline

Now rather bemused you take a look into the mirror, and to your amazement, staring back at you was a cat.

‘Hey! You’re a cat too’, said Wendy sounding rather surprised, but as you take a glance behind you, you see that she now has a slight look of admiration upon her face.

Returning to gaze into the mirror you see your newfound reflection seeming to mirror every move. Upon waving your hand, a feline paw wave too, to cause you to blink in surprise.

Wendy laughs. ‘Hey being a cat is cool, she says surprising a slight giggle, ‘you haven’t seemed to notice anything different about yourself though?’

‘Huh, what do you mean?’ But upon turning round once more to face her something seems to brush the mirror. Bewildered you search behind with your hand. And gasping a furry tail now existed.

Wendy, now in her other form seemed to meow with encouragement. Where once a fully grown adult stood, a cat sat in its place curled up on the floor.

In an almost dream like state, now, things begin to change. Looking into the reflection once more you now realise for sure your own body is turning into that image. The dream state ends. And now in some pain two feline ears begin to sprout out upon you hair, whiskers grow out, while as new eyes develop a sudden loss of sight is found. In blackness, groaning in pain, you hit the floor on all floors. Suddenly the worst pain ever hits you, the bones on your body seemingly crunch together as from only two legs, you now gain four. But, it relieves a little in an instant that causes sweet relief as your sight also returns. On looking at your hand it completely changes. Fingers seemingly melt together, while fur grows to leave an unmistakable paw. And noticeably the sudden hair growth continues throughout the rest of your body. The covering of hair moves up what once was an arm, before surrounding the rest of your body. A new douse of pain hits. Your body crunches once again. And seemingly you shrink slightly.

But then a state of nothingness.

In an unusual feeling, you turn your new four legged body and look upon the mirror once again. Now your true reflection gazes back. A mousy coloured cat.
